A first from India: Glad to share our publication on Robotic vs Laparoscopic Ventral Hernia Repair outcomes, a real world comparison in the Cureus Journal of Medical Sciences. This is the first publication on this subject from our country, and compares 111 robotic cases with 179 cases of laparoscopic ventral hernias. Robotic surgery helps put the mesh outside the peritoneal cavity, and results in less pain and faster return to work.
